  • The 06 Review

Or "Yes I know its November. Too early for reviews. I'm blogging less and need something to write about"

I user to have another blog. For those that are interested its here. You'll find some entertaining stuff there. I left a while ago for personal reason's but I kept it there as I had been using it for a very long time and there are some good thoguht and ideas on there. Somewhere. Promise.

One entry in particular was my "What I'm most looking forward to in 2006" entry, but for some reason unknown to me now, was titled "You can email us."

In it I mention what I am looking forward to in the next year. Here is that list

    - Radioheads new album
Despite Thom Yorkes solo album being released, Radioheads new album never arrived. This could be that they currently are not signed to any label. The album is due to be released next year. Some good news is they've scrapped their idea of having a new producer and brought back in Nigel Godrich. (Small mini wave takes place from behind keyboard)
    - Radiohead touring with new album
No new album, no album touring. This, again, will take place next year. Although I did check them out at V festival this year. And their set was the greatest musical experience I've had the luck of seeing/hearing.
(On side note, I never went to see A Scanner Darkly in the cinema. I missed alot in the cinema. But much looking forward to getting this on DVD)

    - Nintedo Revolution Wii
Its out soon. I. Can't. Wait.
It's on preorder. I have to queue up Thusday night for midnight release on Friday. Im in work Friday so wont get to play it till I'm home. I did catch my first Wii advert on UK TV last night. Even. More. Excited. Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

    - Moving to Leeds
Did it. Easy. Now I'm moving again. Didn't stay long at all. That is all.

    - Seinfeld series 5 and 6
Got them. Watched them numerous times. Possibly bored the missus completely with them. But at least series 7 is out in a week or two.

    - Sony PSP
This was one I wasn't sure about. But thanks to the missus getting me a DS, I didnt have to fork out on something Id complained about more then Id love.
PS I have nothing but good things to say about the DS.

In a few weeks I might stick up my "Things Im looking forward to in 2006 part two."
Or what I prefer to call "Things Im looking forward to in 2007."

  • The Looky Likeys Again

Or "Its Waldo backwards. Thats evil. Yllaw just would of been stupid."

Having unfortunately missed what I hear was a great drinakge with other bloggers my only other highlight of the weekend was buying a new hat.
Now I seen a few colours that I liked, but the missus had insisted on what particular hat with a brown/yellow colour thing going on. I wasn't too sure as it made me look like someone I knew. But the missus insisted that this colour was the best out of the options availble. Always wanting to be the one to please I decided to get the hat. But I cant help but think I look like the evil guy to Wally of "Where's Wally?" fame, Odlaw.

    What do you think?

  • The Habit

Or "You can make money from drugs."

So alot of people complain about getting in to huge debts due to drugs. I know this to be true from a very close friend.

But it appears that if you get enough of a habit, to commit crimes, that getting sent to prison can pay off your drug debt.

Six prisoners are recieving payments after being forced to go cold turkey.

So all I have to do is be-friend a big dealer, get a huge tick list (while having a huge year of fun) and dont have to worry about debts as now the government will give me money for taking me off the drugs and I can pay off my dealer. Sweet.

    In Other News
I have an nice entry about a hat to post. But I think pictures will be better then words. So if you'll bear with me.

  • The Picture One

Or "Well it saves me a few thousands words/"

Here are some pictures which I feel are very now.

Alan Smith is considering a loan move to Cardiff. The BBC interweb editor I think was having a laugh with this story.
    Suitably fitting photo.

"Now think Alan think. Do I take it?" Alan Smith thinks about his future.

And with the blogmeet just round the corner. So I can be spotted, here is a photo (taken now while I'm at work) of me. Hope you dont have difficulty spotting me.

Its about time my photo was updated.

Well I look forward to meeting those who are going the blogmeet tomorrow.

  • The Plans

Or "Things would of been much different with a short cut."

After only a few months of being in a relationship, things between me and the missus have worked out much better then I had hoped for. Plans are already being made for me to move down South. These aren't just ideas like "maybe some time soon Ill possible think about it." These are "Yeah the house mates are aware Ill be leaving at the beginning of February," plans.

London was on my list of places to move to when I was thinking about leaving Runcorn. But I decided against it when I figured the cost of living was too high, there wouldn't be suitable jobs for me and that I'd be lost in a very big maze of street corners and roads.

Turns out the cost of living is that much more then what I was paying back in Runcorn. But I would of known this a few months earlier if I had actually looked in to the cost of living in London.

It also turns out there are more jobs suitable to me in London then anywhere else I've looked. And I'm not even looking hard. Again, I'd of known about this earlier, had I actually looked in to it.

So here I am, a little wiser, a little older and in love. Having given up the chance only a few months ago to move to London to live in Leeds, now I can't wait to get to London. Having breifly checked out Gumtree from time to time there are so many jobs that I am more then qualified for that I would feel happy doing. Only problem is I have to wait. And its a bit annoying. All this waiting. But it has to be done. I have to prepare myself.

Thinking about, if I had moved to London instead of Leeds I don't know if things would of worked out as well between me and missus.

    It's funny how things work.

  • The Ideas

Or "Things that you shouldn't think for a reason."

Sometimes I get very weird thoguhts in my head. When I was a kid and I used to stand in the block of flats behind my home, looking out over scenary of factories, power plants and spaghettit like roads, while chatting with friends. I often wondered "what it would be like to just fall?"
Not because live was hard and I wanted to kill myself. Not because my friends conversations were bad. But just I could experience it.

Sometimes when on public transport, or when out I think to myself "what would happen if I just hit this person?" Its always with different objects, sometimes it could be a slap on the head, sometimes it could be as severe as an hammer or axe.
Now I dont think this as I want to harm people, but I just wonder what the different reactions would be to different situations. I mean would someone think they were losing if if they felt a slap on there head and everyone was sitting normally?

Lately Ive been thinking about "what would happen if I stepped of a rollercoaster?" I mean that is impossible, and similar to the falling one its not because I want to hurt myself. But what would the reactions be of people around me? Just to see someone stepping off the ride as it makes its start down the first big decline. A whole mixture of screaming because of fear, shock and for the people that hadnt noticed, excitement.

    Sometimes I think...
What would happen if you told people you didnt know the strange thoughts in your head?
